Matchbox Cartonnage Course Access

Learn to make your own needlepoint matchbox!  These beautiful matchboxes are a cheeky, elevated interpretation of an everyday object or dinner memento.

Instructed by Amanda Metes (Finishing Fairy) and LeighAnne Tucci (of LeighAnne Stitches), we'll dive deep into the world of precision cartonnage methods, with a focus on adaptation for various materials, sizes, and needlepoint projects. You're not just building this one box–you're learning techniques that you can adapt for many. 

Course Format

• 2 Live Sessions: May 5 & 12 each 7:30 PM ET to 9:30 PM ET
• Step-by-step instruction each week

The live classes will begin at the point of constructing your tray so it’s important to complete the pre-work in advance. You'll get an instructional video on this as part of class. 

Before Class

• Cut out greyboard for your tray (Before May 5) 
• Make your cording (before May 12) 
• Block your canvas (before May 12)
