The subscription to access paid content there is currently $10 per month or $95 per year. You can cancel anytime through the app or on Substack.com, but if you cancel and rejoin, updated pricing rates my apply. I do periodically share article previews and free things too.
What is Substack?
Substack is an easy way for writers to create subscription communities and this information is sent via email and links to a website you can access and peruse. There's not another social platform to sign up for or learn if you don't want to. Or, you can choose to download the Substack app to engage in the social media aspect and participate in the chat.
The timing of the online events doesn't work for me, what do I do?
The online events are typically scheduled in the evenings. All of them are recorded and shared after the events, so I encourage you to give them a re-watch. If you can't make it live, you can always ask questions in our members-only Troubleshooting chat.
Will you do a topic on x y or z?
Sure! Some finishes I have not tried yet but will attempt. I'm transparent about what is new to me and where I bring expertise to bear. In finishing, the secrets and methods are guarded extremely closely. Rarely are long-standing finishers willing to give up their techniques and unfortunately it means that many techniques are at risk of fading out. What I lack in decades of experience I make up for in transparency.
